AboutWarsteiner
Warsteiner’s history begins in 1753, when farmer Antonius Cramer’s brewing became large enough to appear in Warstein’s beer-tax records. Nine generations later, the brewery remains in the Cramer family, led by Catharina Cramer in Germany’s Sauerland region.
The soft water of the Kaiserquelle, discovered in 1927, is still used in brewing. Production moved to the purpose-built Waldpark Brewery outside Warstein in 1976.
Warsteiner Premium German Pilsener 4-Pack Cans
A clean, refreshing German pilsener with a mild, balanced profile. Soft brewing water keeps the palate smooth, while pale barley malt brings a light grainy centre and Hallertau hops add restrained herbal bitterness. The texture is crisp and uncomplicated, finishing dry enough to invite another sip without feeling sharp. Serve cold with schnitzel, sausages, roast chicken, fish and chips or mild, firm cheese.
