Viteadovest

Viteadovest brings together the Puleo Portelli and Angileri families’ vineyards around Marsala and Mazara del Vallo in western Sicily. Five hectares are spread across six parcels, on land cultivated for more than a century. Nearly all the vines are trained as low bushes, in the traditional alberello style.

The whole farm has been certified organic since 2018, with winter ground cover and green manure used in the vineyards. Grapes are picked by hand and ferment with their own yeasts; skin contact varies from days to months, and the wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered.
