Vino di Anna

Bright crimson colour accompanies red cherry and wild strawberry aromas. The palate is dry and fruit-driven, with juicy ripe tannins and fresh acidity. Organically grown Nerello Mascalese comes from old bush vines on high, terraced vineyards on Etna’s northern face. Half the blend is made in a traditional palmento, thirty percent in Georgian qvevri and twenty percent in a large used oak botte. Indigenous yeasts conduct spontaneous fermentation; the wine rests twelve months on fine lees and is bottled without fining or filtration.
