Valle Martello
AboutValle Martello
Giuseppe Masci began the family estate at Villamagna in the early postwar years. His four sons returned from abroad in the 1960s to work the vines, moving the winery from Torre Monache to Valle Martello in 1979. The new site gave the estate its name, and five Masci cousins have led the work since 2000.
Its vineyards lie between the Adriatic Sea and the Majella mountains, on two opposing hillsides facing north and south.

Salted herbs, butter and cheese rind meet fresh pineapple and lime. Citrus remains prominent, while peach gives the palate a full, rich feel against abundant acidity. Made entirely from Pecorino, the wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Its official profile also records ripe yellow fruit, floral character, freshness, persistence and a mineral note, with thirteen percent alcohol.
