AboutUva de Vida
Carmen López founded Uva de Vida in 2005 at Santa Olalla in Toledo, where her family works its own vineyards and makes wine on a small scale. The vines are farmed using biodynamic practices and harvested by hand, with no grapes bought from other growers. In the cellar, the family favours fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel.

Spanish Red
Wildflowers, spiced fruit, violets, cherry and blueberry accompany fresh earth and an earthy umami note. Graciano accounts for seventy percent of the blend, with thirty percent Tempranillo. Fruit from clay-limestone soils is harvested by hand in small boxes. Maceration lasts eighteen days, native yeasts carry out fermentation, and maturation lasts twenty-four months in stainless steel. The wine is unfined and unfiltered, with no added sulphites.
