Trapet Père et Fils

Red cherry, cassis and black raspberry rise from the glass with rose petal, stone, game, forest floor and dried herbs. The palate is deep and full-bodied but controlled, with silky tannins, fresh acidity and a mineral line carrying the fruit through a long savoury finish. Biodynamic farming brings no need for embellishment here; careful decanting and roast duck, venison or mushrooms will let the detail unfold.
