AboutTobermory Distillery
Founded in 1798 beside the harbour on Scotland’s Isle of Mull, Tobermory Distillery makes two contrasting single malts. Tobermory is unpeated, while Ledaig is peated and smoky; Master Blender Julieann Fernandez works across both ranges. The distillery draws water from the nearby Gearr Abhainn brook and underwent extensive renovations between 2017 and 2019.
Ledaig 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Scottish Whisky
Powerful and deeply savoury, opening with herbal smoke, orange peel and sea salt over coffee and tobacco. The palate is rich and rounded, bringing dried apricot, date and raisin into tarry peat, white pepper and a measured sherry sweetness. Smoke remains firm but integrated. The finish is long and pungent, leaving liquorice, sea spray, citrus oil and dark roasted notes.
