Nathan and Kayla Flim founded The Fort Distillery in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, in 2018. Nathan brought a chemistry degree and experience as a crop inspector to the business. The distillery makes its drinks in the Edmonton region, working with local suppliers and prairie ingredients.
In 2020, it launched Tumbler & Rocks, a collection of ready-to-serve bottled cocktails. Ingredients across the range include fresh citrus, locally roasted coffee, house-made bitters and Alberta honey.
