The Busker

Fresh white flowers, honey and vanilla open the nose, joined by oak, fudge and a light clove-oil note. The palate is rich and coating, with pot-still spice, toffee, baked apple and cocoa balanced by warm grain and measured wood. Malted and unmalted barley provide both weight and lift, keeping the sweetness controlled. The finish is long, warm and gently dry. Serve neat, add a small splash of water, or use in a whiskey sour where the floral and spicy character can stay distinct.
