The blend combines American rye with sherry-finished peated single malt Scotch, bringing peppery grain, tangy treacle and earthy oak into the palate. Sweetness and smoke move together rather than separately, with a barbecue-like richness at the centre. The finish is bold and warming, leaving peat, caramel, char and rye spice behind.
