Tedeschi
The Tedeschi family records winegrowing activity in Valpolicella from 1630 and has maintained a long connection to the hills north of Verona. The estate’s modern development accelerated under Lorenzo Tedeschi in the early 1960s when Monte Olmi was vinified separately. Monte Olmi had entered the family holdings in 1918, making vineyard acquisition and later single-site bottling distinct milestones.
The current family team works Valpolicella, Amarone and related wines from several hill vineyards and separate estate parcels. Appassimento and ageing are applied according to the requirements of each wine. Tedeschi’s present range links its Valpolicella vineyard history with a multigenerational family team and site-specific wines.
