AboutTaylor Fladgate

Taylor Fladgate traces its origins to Job Bearsley’s wine business in Portugal, founded in 1692. In 1744, Bartholomew Bearsley became the first British wine shipper to buy a Douro property. The Taylor Fladgate & Yeatman name dates to the 1838 partnership of John Fladgate and Morgan Yeatman.

Still independent and family-led, the house is devoted entirely to Port. Its Douro estates include Vargellas, Terra Feita and Junco, and its work spans vineyard management, ageing, blending and bottling. The range covers Vintage, aged Tawny, Late Bottled Vintage and white Port.
