Deep and inky in colour, with macerated black fruit, a vegetal edge and white pepper. Rich, sweet and weighty on entry, the wine remains fluid, with ripe tannins, integrated alcohol and sweet, toasty, peppery black-fruit flavours. The finish is rich, sweet and structured. Fruit comes from estate vineyards and other sites in the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior.

Portuguese Fortified
Sweet fruit, honey and wood shape a rich, perfumed aroma. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with a long, flavoursome finish. White grapes grow mainly on the upper terraces of the Douro Valley. Individual wines mature in wooden vats for about three years before blending. The blend includes Malvasia Fina, Viozinho, Esgana Cão, Rabigato and Gouveio, and contains twenty percent alcohol.

Deep brick colour meets an amber rim. Ripe berry fruit, nuttiness, chocolate, butterscotch and fine oak appear in the aroma profile, while the palate is smooth and silky with fig and jam flavours and a long finish. The wine matures fully in seasoned oak casks of about 630 litres. It is blended from cask-aged reserves and bottled ready to drink, with no decanting required.
