AboutSuvla Winery
Pınar and Selim Zafer Ellialtı planted their first vines on Turkey’s Gallipoli Peninsula in 2003. They built the winery in 2009 and launched the Suvla name in 2012. The family vineyards near Kabatepe lie among pine trees between the northern Aegean and the Dardanelles.
The vineyards are certified organic and grow international varieties alongside Turkish grapes such as Karasakız and Kınalı Yapıncak. A gravity-flow winery combines small experimental cellars with larger production spaces, making still, sparkling and sweet wines.

Pale yellow colour shows green reflections, while subtle white-fruit and white-flower aromas lead the profile. The palate is crisp and balanced, with fresh acidity and a fruity, clean finish. The blend combines Semillon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne and Kınalı Yapıncak from the family vineyard and traditional vineyards of the Gallipoli peninsula. Grapes are harvested in the cool of dawn to preserve their qualities.
