Summerhill 2018 Spadefoot Sangiovese
Ripe red cherry and cranberry lead a bright, savoury palate, joined by dried herbs and a gentle earthy note. Lively acidity gives the fruit shape, while firm but well-judged tannins carry subtle spice through a persistent finish. Energetic rather than heavy, it suits tomato-based pasta, grilled vegetables or roast pork.
Summerhill Pyramid Winery Cipes Brut NV
Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc form this traditional-method sparkling wine from organic Okanagan vineyards. The grapes are whole-cluster pressed and fermented dry in stainless steel before blending and a second fermentation in bottle. First produced in the early nineteen-nineties, the cuvée is aged in the winery’s pyramid cellar. Its fresh style suits sushi, seafood, grilled chicken, tapas, fruit or cheese.
Summerhill 2004 Cipes Traditional Cuvée
Honeyed yellow apple, caramel, toasted nuts and earthy umami accompany marmalade, ginger and key lime pie. Seashell minerality appears with a creamy mousse and mouthwatering acidity. The blend is eighty-seven percent Chardonnay, twelve percent Pinot Noir and one percent Pinot Meunier. Made by the traditional method, it spent at least eighteen years on its lees before small-batch disgorgement began.
Summerhill 2009 Cabernets
Soft and fruit-forward after bottle ageing, this Okanagan red shows black cherry, cola, cocoa and cedar, with a savoury dimension alongside the fruit. Tannins and oak are beautifully integrated, and the overall texture is smooth and harmonious. Decanting is recommended. The documented profile brings the fruit, cedar and cocoa notes together with the wine’s savoury complexity, integrated tannins and oak.
Summerhill 2016 Ner Tamid Magnum
Dark cherry and blackcurrant lead an elegant, full-flavoured red, with gentle cedar, dried herbs and warm spice adding savoury detail. The palate is polished rather than heavy, its ripe fruit held by fresh acidity and fine, measured tannins. Composed and persistent, it suits roast lamb, braised beef or mushroom dishes.
Summerhill Pyramid Winery 2000 Cipes Ariel
Fresh apple and ripe pear meet creamy lemon custard, warm brioche and candied orange, with dried apricot and ginger adding mature complexity. Rich and full-bodied, the palate remains vibrant, its fine mousse and integrated acidity giving the developed fruit welcome lift. The finish is long, layered and savoury, balancing age with remarkable freshness.
