Suenen
Suenen
The Suenen family estate was established in Cramant in 1905 and has winegrowing roots that extend into the late nineteenth century. Aurélien Suenen assumed responsibility in 2009 after the death of his father, representing the current generation of the family domaine. The vineyards include Chardonnay in Cramant, Chouilly and Oiry together with Pinot Noir and Meunier farther north in the Massif de Saint-Thierry.
Aurélien has moved the farming toward organic methods and parcel-level study, although current records do not establish separate certification. Separate village and lieu-dit cuvées preserve origin, while fermentation and ageing details remain specific to each release. Aurélien Suenen now leads the family domaine from Cramant, with parcels across the Côte des Blancs and Coteaux Vitryats.
