Deep ruby-red colour shows violet reflections. Currant, wild strawberry and pomegranate accompany a soft, velvety and fruity profile. Nero d'Avola from Sambuca di Sicilia is grown on clay-like terrain. After destemming, alcoholic fermentation takes place with the skins, followed by malolactic fermentation with selected bacteria. The wine then matures in French barriques and carries thirteen percent alcohol.
