AboutSperling Vineyards

Ann Sperling makes the wines at her family’s East Kelowna estate. The family’s vineyard history dates to 1925 and spans four generations.

The high-lying vineyard has old vines and mineral-rich soils, and became certified organic in 2017. The Heritage wines highlight mature vines, while the Vision range focuses on wines intended for cellaring.

Sperling Vineyards 2017 Chardonnay

Canadian White
$31.99
Golden apple and pear lead a poised, medium-bodied white, with lemon curd, hazelnut, fresh bread and warm spice adding depth. The palate is vibrant and mouth-filling, its lees-derived richness held in balance by crisp acidity. A subtle saline and mineral edge carries the clean, persistent finish.

Sperling Vineyards 2021 Organic Heritage Pinot Noir Rosé

Canadian Rosé
$25.99
Deep amber-orange in colour, this dry rosé shows ripe strawberry, raspberry jam and subtle smoke. The finish is tart and warming. Pinot Noir from clone 777 was grown on the biodynamically farmed estate in East Kelowna. The grapes were whole-cluster pressed and barrel fermented, then remained in barrel until the following March before bottling. The wine contains thirteen percent alcohol and pairs with salmon burgers.

Sperling 2018 Late Harvest Vidal

Canadian Dessert
$29.99
Fragrant honeysuckle, sweet marmalade and concentrated green pear open a generous dessert wine. The palate is velvety and lightly weighted, with fresh acidity giving the natural sweetness clean definition. Honeyed citrus lingers through a refreshing finish, making it a fine match for blue cheese, toasted nuts or restrained fruit desserts.
