AboutSilverado Vineyards

Ron and Diane Miller founded Silverado Vineyards with Diane’s mother, Lillian Disney, in 1981, after years of growing grapes for neighbouring Napa wineries. Foley Family Wines & Spirits acquired the estate in 2022. The wines draw on five vineyards across Napa Valley, including sites in Stags Leap District, Yountville, Coombsville and Carneros.

A Cabernet Sauvignon selection from Silverado Vineyard was recognised by UC Davis in 1999 as Heritage clone FPS 30. It is the basis of SOLO, first made in 2002 from the steep, gravelly Stags Leap District vineyard around the winery.

Silverado Vineyards 2003 SOLO Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

American Red
$239.99
Dark cherry, blackberry, cassis and blueberry lead, with eucalyptus, mineral and herbal notes emerging as the wine opens. The palate is rich and layered, balancing ripe fruit with fresh acidity and firm, resolved structure. A lightly earthy savoury edge adds maturity before the Cabernet carries into a long, composed finish.
