Raspberry, cherry and floral notes shape the profile. The palate is fresh and rounded, with subtle spice and a soft, long finish. Fruit comes from cooler Hawke's Bay vineyard sites on gravel and clay soils. Fermentation takes place in closed-top stainless steel with gentle maceration and pump-overs, and a small proportion of the wine is matured in oak.
