AboutSignorello Estate
Ray Signorello Senior and his son Ray Junior founded Signorello Estate in 1977 on a 100-acre property along Napa Valley’s Silverado Trail. They planted Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay in 1980. The 2017 Atlas fire destroyed the winery and family home; a new winery and cave complex opened on the same site in 2024.
Thirty acres of hillside vines grow on well-drained volcanic rock and soils. The grapes are picked and sorted by hand. The rebuilt winery uses solar power and fermenters sized for individual vineyard blocks.
Signorello Estate 2019 Padrone Napa Valley Red Blend
Cedar and tobacco frame plum, blackberry and dark cherry, with floral, peppery and coriander notes adding lift. The palate is rich, round and full-bodied, its concentrated fruit carried by smooth-grained tannins and a clear mineral thread. Earthy and coffee-toned detail builds through the middle. The finish is long and generous, returning to dark fruit, spice and savoury oak.
Signorello Estate 2020 Hope’s Cuvée Chardonnay Napa Valley
An expressive nose of honeysuckle, orange blossom, hazelnut and butterscotch opens into a full, richly textured palate. Pear and apricot sit beside toasted nuts, resin and a measured touch of vanilla, while mineral detail adds shape. Broad but composed, the Chardonnay carries its weight with clarity through a lingering, gently savoury finish.
Signorello Estate 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
Charcoal and graphite frame concentrated blackcurrant and blueberry, giving the wine a dark, savoury aromatic profile. The palate is dense and full-bodied, with opulent fruit held in check by freshness and firm structure. Fine mineral detail and measured tannins carry the Cabernet through a long, composed finish with impressive depth.
