Sidekick Brewing began with the renewed friendship of Mike Reimer and Barnaby McRae, whose homebrewing experiments led to plans for a brewery in 2016. Maria Reimer and Kathy Kwon joined the founding team, and the doors opened beside Chilliwack’s Vedder River in autumn 2022. The brewery makes hazy IPA, honey pilsner, stout and radler, alongside collaborative releases.
