AboutShuswap Cider Company
Kailee, Lindsay and Gena founded Shuswap Cider Company after working together on community projects. Based in Enderby, British Columbia, the cidery makes its ciders in small batches.
It blends traditional bittersweet and bittersharp cider apples with culinary varieties. Local suppliers include A & L Peterson Orchards, where fourth-generation orchardist Allan Peterson continues a family apple-growing history dating to 1911.
Shuswap Fireside Spice Cider 473 mL
A lightly spiced apple cider layered with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and cardamom. Vanilla and oak soften the aromatic warmth, giving the palate a rounded, composed shape while fresh apple keeps the finish lively. The spice is measured rather than heavy, making this an easy seasonal pour with enough detail for the table. Serve chilled with roast pork, baked ham, mature cheddar or apple pie.
Shuswap Dry Apple Cider 473 mL
Traditional bittersharp and bittersweet apples, including Northern Spy and Bromley, are co-fermented with Gala and Ambrosia for this refreshingly dry cider. Stone-fruit fragrances accompany a crisp, fruity character, while the official profile lists seven per cent alcohol and a sweetness rating of one. The four named apple varieties and the dry style are stated directly by the producer.
