Sébastien Morin started his Beaujolais domaine in 2015 after learning alongside Jura winemaker Jean-Marc Brignot. Based in Saint-Étienne-des-Oullières, he works roughly a hectare and a half of old Gamay vines on sandy granite soils.
He farms organically, without certification. In the cellar he uses native yeasts, working with both whole bunches and destemmed grapes before slow pressing and bottling without fining or filtration.

French Red
Deep fruit and fine tannins shape the profile. Gamay comes from old vines on sandy granitic soils near the cellar in Saint-Étienne-des-Oullières. Seventy percent of the fruit is destemmed and layered with whole bunches for fermentation. The vineyard is farmed organically without certification. Fermentation is spontaneous, and the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, with no additives.
