San Polo

San Polo occupies a high, southeast-facing position in Montalcino, where the estate’s first vines were planted in 1990 and Sangiovese has remained the clear focus. Marilisa Allegrini acquired the property in 2007, and today works alongside her daughters Carlotta and Caterina Mastella Allegrini in guiding its direction. The estate covers 22 hectares, with 16 under vine.

Its largely underground cellar was completed in 2005, and the estate later received CasaClima Wine certification. Organic farming began in 2014 and certification followed in 2017. The vineyard team manages each plot according to its soils and exposure.
