Rose Family Estate grows and makes Sunshine Bay in Marlborough, New Zealand. Phil and Chris Rose planted their first vines beside the Wairau River in 1978. Their children and partners now help run the family-owned estate, with more than 500 hectares of vineyards on the north side of the Wairau Valley.
The family handles harvesting, winemaking and bottling in-house. Sunshine Bay takes its name from the family’s long-standing retreat in the Marlborough Sounds.
