AboutRocche Costamagna

In 1841, Luigi Costamagna received a licence to sell wine from the family cellars in La Morra. Claudia Ferraresi revived production in the late 1960s, and Alessandro Locatelli joined the family business in the 1980s. The family has held its 3.2-hectare Nebbiolo parcel in Rocche dell’Annunziata since the nineteenth century; it also has vineyards around La Morra and Verduno.

Wine and culture meet in the family’s Ca dj’Amis initiative, founded in 1975, with exhibitions, music and a library of roughly 3,500 books on food and wine.

Rocche Costamagna 2022 Langhe Arneis

Italian White
$34.99
Straw yellow with green reflections, with white flowers and green apple in the profile. The palate is fresh, savoury and mineral. Made entirely from Arneis, the grapes are gently pressed and statically settled before fermentation at sixteen degrees for about three weeks. The wine then rests on its lees in stainless steel for at least three months and has an expected lifespan of three to six years.
