AboutRobert Perroud
Robert Perroud’s family has grown vines in Beaujolais since the French Revolution. He works by hand from pruning through harvest, picking grapes at full maturity and taking them to a winery just metres from the vines. His vineyard work includes encouraging biodiversity and protecting the surrounding habitat. Some southern Beaujolais plots planted with his brother are farmed organically. His wines include Gamay from Brouilly’s slopes and Chardonnay grown on pink granite and white clay.

French White
Delicate and refreshing, with grapefruit, white peach and bright citrus at the centre of a clean, poised profile. The palate stays light on its feet, balancing ripe fruit with a fresh, gently textured feel and a neat finish. Serve well chilled with roast chicken, grilled fish, fresh cheeses or vegetable dishes; it is equally comfortable as an elegant aperitif.

French Red
Blackberry and spice lead a rich yet composed red, with the structure already well integrated into its dark fruit. The palate is generous but not heavy, shaped by fresh acidity and a savoury mineral line that carries through the finish. Serve slightly cool with roast chicken, pork tenderloin, grilled sausages, charcuterie, lentil dishes, mushrooms or hard cheese.
