AboutMax Ferd. Richter
The Richter family’s Mosel wine history reaches back to a vineyard purchase in 1643 and the founding of a wine-trading house in 1680. Their manor in Mülheim dates to 1774, and the winery buildings to 1880. Today Dirk Richter represents the ninth generation, with Constantin Richter continuing the work as the tenth.
Across the Middle Mosel, roughly 48 steep acres between Erden and Brauneberg are planted overwhelmingly to Riesling, with only a little Pinot Blanc. Vineyard work uses low yields, selective handwork and natural fertilizers; cellar work combines gentle pressing, slow, temperature-controlled fermentation and traditional old oak casks.

German White
Golden pear and apricot lead into a generous sweep of tropical fruit. The sweetness is fully integrated, giving the palate richness without heaviness, while lively acidity keeps the wine fresh and balanced. Silky in texture and graceful in movement, it closes with clean fruit, gentle lift and a composed, lingering finish.
