AboutChampagne Raineteau Grimet
The family’s Champagne story in Chamery reaches back to 1862, when Grégoire Bonnet began working vines in the village. Benjamin Raineteau joined the Grimet family and created his own label in 2002. He represents the sixth generation, with the family working in both vineyard and cellar.
The domaine farms about four hectares in small parcels, all in Chamery Premier Cru. Its vineyards are planted to Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay.
Champagne Raineteau Grimet NV Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru
Light yellow with golden highlights, opening on lemon and grapefruit. The palate is direct and refreshing, with bright acidity shaping the clean citrus fruit and a fine, energetic profile. Made entirely from Chardonnay grown around Chamery, it closes with poised freshness, mineral clarity and the balanced length expected of a Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs.
