Quinta do Portal makes Douro still wines, Ports and Moscatel. Its vineyards span five estates in the Pinhão valley of Cima Corgo, at elevations of roughly 190 to 600 metres. Olive trees, fruit trees and kitchen gardens grow alongside the vines. The wine-ageing warehouse was designed by Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza Vieira.
