Project Hop

Built as a careful recreation of an early Burton-upon-Trent IPA, this is made from pale malt, East Kent Goldings hops and yeast, then refermented in the can. Extended time in oak is used to echo the long sea voyage once faced by export beer, giving the release a firmly historical frame. Serve cool with aged cheddar, roast pork, meat pies or other savoury dishes that suit a traditional hop-led ale.
