AboutPort Dundas
Port Dundas began distilling in Glasgow in 1811, when Daniel McFarlane established the first of two neighbouring works beside the Forth and Clyde Canal. The operations were combined during the 1860s and grew into one of Scotland’s largest grain distilleries. After a devastating fire in 1903, the distillery was rebuilt and later modernised in the 1970s.
Its continuous stills made grain whisky for Scotch blends until the distillery closed in 2010, after almost two centuries of production. Surviving casks have since been released by independent bottlers.

Scottish Whisky
Mature and restrained, with a soft, polished aroma that opens gradually rather than forcefully. The palate is rich and evenly balanced, carrying gentle grain sweetness, seasoned oak and a rounded texture through the centre. Long refill-hogshead ageing gives the whisky calm depth without excessive wood. The finish is clean and refreshing, tapering slowly with quiet sweetness, light oak and composed warmth.
