Poderi Cellario
AboutPoderi Cellario
Fausto and Cinzia Cellario lead their third-generation family estate in the southwestern Langhe. Its thirteen hectares of vines focus on Dolcetto alongside lesser-known local grape varieties. Grapes are picked by hand, while cover crops and work to encourage biodiversity form part of the vineyard care. In the cellar, fermentations begin spontaneously, with concrete vessels used for selected wines.
Poderi Cellario E’ Orange! 1 L
Cloudy and gently aromatic, with clementine, lime and a touch of honey leading into candied ginger and soft stone fruit. The palate is juicy and lightly tannic, balancing lively citrus with a mild bitter edge and a savoury, textured finish. Characterful but easy-going, it suits spiced vegetables, cured meats or washed-rind cheese.
Poderi Cellario E’ Grino! Grignolino 1 L
Light ruby in colour, with red fruit and spice leading into a rounded, easy-moving palate. Freshness keeps the wine lively before a gently tannic finish. The fruit is fermented spontaneously, macerated on the skins for three to five days and rested in cement before being bottled unfiltered. Serve lightly chilled as an aperitif or with cured meats, mushrooms and grilled dishes.
