AboutPoderi Aldo Conterno
Aldo Conterno founded his own estate in 1969 after time in the United States and years working in the family winery. He bought the Favot property in Bussia, at Monforte d’Alba, and his sons Franco, Stefano and Giacomo now continue the work in the vineyards, cellar and business.
The estate has about twenty-five hectares of vineyards in Bussia, facing south and southwest at roughly 350 to 400 metres. Clay, calcareous marl and sand vary across the slopes. All the wines use estate-grown grapes picked by hand at low yields; the reds are neither fined nor filtered.

Italian Red
Aromatic and finely detailed, with red cherry, plum and rose layered over gentle spice and a subtle earthy note. The palate is medium-bodied and supple, combining soft fruit with delicate freshness and elegant tannins. Fine structure keeps the wine lively without making it austere. The finish is clean and persistent, returning to red fruit, florals and spice with a smooth, composed feel.

Italian White
Golden apple, white peach and ripe citrus lead, with subtle oak, hazelnut and mineral notes adding depth. The palate is full-bodied and creamy yet composed, supported by clear acidity and a long, smooth finish. Serve lightly chilled with roast poultry, lobster, richer fish or mushroom dishes, or cellar further.
