Poças 2024 Tongue Twister Vinho Verde Loureiro
Portuguese White
Bright straw-yellow colour shows green reflections. Intense citrus aromas meet floral nuances of orange blossom and acacia. The palate is fresh, with vibrant acidity, persistent citrus, a mineral touch and subtle white peach. The texture is silky and balanced, and the finish is long and refreshing. Made entirely from Loureiro, the grapes are selected in the field, harvested by hand and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats.

Portuguese Red
Wild fruit, liquorice and cocoa appear in the profile. The palate is silky, and the finish is long and fresh. The blend combines Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz from forty- to sixty-year-old vines on schist soils in Numão, Douro Superior. Grapes are harvested manually and selected in the vineyard. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, with twenty percent matured in second-year French oak casks. The wine contains thirteen point six percent alcohol and is suitable for vegan diets.

Blackberry jam and cassis lead with dried fig, raisin and a gentle savoury warmth. Full-bodied and sweet, the palate is rounded and balanced, carrying ripe dark fruit without losing definition. Chocolate, spice and a measured fortified richness extend through the smooth, graceful and persistent finish.
