Plenty Real Brews began with founder Valli Manickam’s home-brewed kombucha experiments in a Kitsilano kitchen around 2019–20. Manickam brought a background in product design and moved the recipes into production at a local brewery in Vancouver. Its hard kombucha gets its alcohol through a second fermentation, with fruit and botanical flavours throughout the range. The company also makes hard teas and vodka-based Quenchers.
