The Padelletti family records its presence in Montalcino from the fourteenth century and documented winegrowing activity from 1571. The estate’s vineyards lie on the northern side of Montalcino and remain associated with the family’s historic property near the town. Sangiovese is the basis of its Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino wines, each governed by its own appellation requirements.
Current family stewardship continues a long agricultural line, while exact day-to-day roles are stated only where the producer identifies them. The official estate and Brunello consortium record the family chronology, location and continuous winegrowing history. Padelletti remains a family estate in Montalcino, working Sangiovese for Brunello and Rosso from its historic property.

Cherry and plum lead an intense, fragrant bouquet, with violet, cedar and walnut adding depth. Dried herbs, tobacco and a touch of warm spice bring savoury complexity. The palate is full and tightly composed, its ripe fruit framed by polished tannins and fresh acidity. Mineral detail keeps the richness focused. Long and refined through the finish, it leaves red fruit, flowers, spice and a firm, clean echo.
