The vineyard sits on the Cawston Bench in the Similkameen Valley beside a former commercial gravel pit. The site has a sunny slope backed by steep granite cliffs, with angular granite rocks and shallow soils.

It is made entirely from Marechal Foch grown in the Pozza Vineyard in the Olalla Gap. Whole berries ferment carbonically under carbon dioxide before pressing, stainless-steel fermentation and a rest in old 500-litre puncheons. The wine is neither fined nor filtered and carries 12.8 percent alcohol.
