Orofino 2025 Hendsbee Vineyard Clone 21B Riesling
Canadian White
Apple, citrus, peach skin, honeysuckle and pear shape a fruit-forward, approachable nose. The palate is medium-dry, with a semi-sweet balance. Made entirely from clone 21B Riesling, the wine comes from nineteen-year-old vines and reaches 11.9 percent alcohol. Orchard fruit, citrus and floral aromas bring together apple, pear, peach skin and honeysuckle in the aromatic profile.

Bright red fruit and dark cherry rise with cedar, sage and a hint of vineyard scrub. The palate is medium-bodied and mouth-filling, layering cherry, cocoa and vanilla over smooth, approachable tannins. Dry, balanced and comfortably rich, it carries a gentle herbaceous note through a satisfying finish.

Orofino 2022 Passion Pit Cabernet Sauvignon

Made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine carries rich dark-fruit flavours and fourteen percent alcohol. It spent twenty months in French and American oak. The vineyard sits on the Cawston Bench in the Similkameen Valley beside a former commercial gravel pit. The site has a sunny slope backed by steep granite cliffs, with angular granite rocks and shallow soils.

Pepper, black and blue fruit, iron and wild game appear through the profile. The deep purple wine has low tannins and a naturally soft character. It is made entirely from Marechal Foch grown in the Pozza Vineyard in the Olalla Gap. Whole berries ferment carbonically under carbon dioxide before pressing, stainless-steel fermentation and a rest in old 500-litre puncheons. The wine is neither fined nor filtered and carries 12.8 percent alcohol.
Orofino 2024 Few and Far Between Washington Series Marsanne
Canadian White
Pale gold with green reflections, the wine shows lemon, white peach, orchard blossom and beeswax. The palate is crisp and light-bodied, with a long finish. Marsanne from Ancient Lakes in Washington ferments and ages in stainless steel and French oak. Alcohol is 13 percent, residual sugar is two grams per litre, and production totals two hundred fifty cases.

Deep purple colour accompanies black and blue fruit, pepper, iron and wild-game notes. Low tannins and the natural softness of Marechal Foch give an easy-drinking profile. Fruit from twenty-year-old vines in Pozza Vineyard was destemmed with berries left whole for carbonic fermentation under carbon dioxide, then pressed to finish in stainless steel and rested in old 500-litre puncheons.

Crisp lime and mineral notes accompany a slightly sweet entry and mouth-watering fruit. The finish is medium-plus in length. The technical figures record 12.5 percent alcohol, nine grams per litre of titratable acidity and twenty grams per litre of residual sugar. This was the first vintage in which the estate bottled its single-vineyard Rieslings separately.

The palate is dry and layered, with ripe fruit weight, a complex texture and enough acidity to keep the finish composed and refreshing.
