Moa Gürbüzer founded Oddbird in Sweden in 2013 after more than two decades as a social worker and family therapist. Her aim was to make choosing wine with or without alcohol feel ordinary. Her son Mehmet Gürbüzer is now chief executive.
Oddbird works with growers and winemakers across Europe. The wines are fully fermented and matured before the alcohol is removed at low temperature under vacuum, with recovered aromas returned to the wine.

Nashi pear and green apple open with a fresh, crunchy character, followed by elderflower and a clean grapefruit edge. Fine bubbles and bright acidity give the palate lift, while the fruit remains light and precise rather than broad. A subtle floral note carries into a lively, citrus-led finish. Serve well chilled as an aperitif or with salted nuts, cured meats, firm cheese, seafood and simple vegetable dishes.
