The estate began in 2006 as Oliver Twist Estate Winery, establishing its vineyards and cellar on the Black Sage Bench near Oliver. Gina Fernandes Harfman took ownership in 2012, bringing four generations of South Okanagan farming history to the winery. She renamed it Nostalgia Wines in 2021, drawing on family memories, vintage design and her love of classic cars.
The woman-owned and operated winery makes small-lot wines from its 14.5-acre estate vineyard and partner growers.
Nostalgia 2021 Syrah
Canadian Red
Cherries and raspberries open this Syrah, joined by savoury, peppery and meaty notes that give the fruit a darker, more complex frame. Fifteen months in French and American oak add shape without obscuring the wine's energy. Unfiltered and quietly textural, it finishes with a spicy, composed character that suits richly flavoured dishes and hard cheeses.
Nostalgia 2020 Merlot
Canadian Red
Ripe cherry and juicy plum lead, followed by dried cranberry and warm baking spice. The palate is velvety and composed, with supple tannins carried by fresh acidity rather than weight. Generous fruit and gentle spice stay in balance through the finish, giving this polished red an easy sense of flow and enough structure to work naturally at the table.
