AboutChampagne Moutard
Champagne Moutard is rooted in Buxeuil, on the Aube’s southern edge, where the family’s viticultural record reaches back to 1642. Lucien Moutard began producing Champagne in 1952 and expanded the estate over the following decades. Today François, Agnès and Véronique work alongside the next generation of the family.
The house draws on 22.5 hectares of its own vines and fruit purchased under contract from across the Côte des Bar. Alongside Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, the house works with the rarer Arbane, Petit Meslier and Pinot Blanc. Lucien planted a plot of Arbane in 1952, which François later preserved.

French Sparkling
White flowers and bright citrus open a powerful, composed nose. The palate is full and structured but finely balanced, with mature breadth held in line by persistent freshness. Citrus returns on the long, measured finish, giving the wine lift despite its scale. Best served with lobster, roast poultry, creamy mushroom dishes or a selection of aged cheeses.
