Mortlach

Stewed black orchard fruit leads a bold, complex nose, with dark chocolate, dried fruit and a trace of smoke adding depth. The palate is robust and full, shaped by sherry casks and a savoury, almost meaty richness that gives the whisky its distinctive weight. Honeyed sweetness softens the darker fruit and oak, while gentle spice keeps the structure firm. The finish is long and warming, carrying cocoa, dried fruit and polished wood. Serve neat or add water gradually.
