AboutMonte Creek Winery

Monte Creek Winery sits east of Kamloops in the Thompson Valley, where Sidhu & Sons planted the property’s first vines in 2010 and opened the winery to visitors in 2015. Its Monte Creek and Lion’s Head vineyards face one another across the South Thompson River, while a third vineyard at Keremeos lies in the warmer Similkameen Valley.

The three vineyards and production facility gained organic certification in 2023. Native cover crops and attention to soil health are part of its farming programme. In the gravity-flow cellar, the team aims to handle the fruit gently and keep winemaking intervention to a minimum.
