AboutMiyaizumi Meijo

Miyaizumi Meijo began brewing in Aizuwakamatsu in 1955. Its home in Fukushima’s Aizu basin combines cold winters, spring water and rice-growing farmland.

It makes sake under the Aizu Miyaizumi, Sharaku and Genbu names. Rice comes from Aizu and elsewhere in Fukushima, as well as other Japanese growing regions.

Japanese Sake
$92.99
Vibrant floral and berry aromas rise from the glass, joined by melon and pear. The palate is light and clean, balancing gentle sweetness with crisp acidity and a delicate, lifted texture. A soft savoury undertone keeps the fruit composed, while the finish remains smooth and quietly refreshing. Serve chilled with sushi, sashimi, grilled seafood, lightly dressed vegetables, fresh cheeses or simply seasoned poultry.
