Misty Cove began in 2008, first finding an audience in Europe before returning home to New Zealand in 2012. The team farms vineyards at Fareham Lane outside Renwick and across Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. Harvest dates follow the readiness of the fruit rather than a fixed calendar. In the cellar, the team works with lees ageing and acacia wood.
Misty Cove 2021 Estate Series Pinot Noir Marlborough
New Zealand Red
Dark cherry, raspberry, floral notes and subtle spice form the bouquet. The rounded, smooth palate has a silky texture and a long, lingering finish. Made entirely from Pinot Noir, it carries 12.5 percent alcohol and comes from Marlborough on New Zealand's South Island. The winery focuses on expressive Pinot Noir from selected vineyard sites.
