Marto Wines is Martin Wörner’s project in Flonheim, Rheinhessen, shaped by study at Geisenheim and practical experience with Gut Oggau and Matassa. He returned to the family farm to work a small holding of vines.
He farms using organic and biodynamic principles, with an emphasis on soil health and biodiversity. The wines ferment spontaneously and are bottled unfiltered.

Invigorating and lightly textured, with citrus zest, mineral drive and a subtle tropical note carried by bright acidity. Old-vine white varieties are whole-bunch co-fermented and aged in large seasoned oak, preserving freshness while adding gentle depth. Naturally made and modest in alcohol, it is a lively match for Thai salads, grilled vegetables, fresh cheese or simply prepared fish.
