Marchesi Antinori Tignanello 2020 is a benchmark Toscana IGT, made chiefly from Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Ripe cherry, blackberry, violet, tobacco, cedar and sweet spice rise from the glass, followed by a polished palate of dark fruit, cocoa and savoury herbs. Concentrated yet energetic, it combines vivid acidity with fine-grained tannins and well-integrated oak. Long, refined and built to develop, it is a natural match for steak, lamb and richly flavoured Italian dishes.
