Manos Negras
Manos Negras
Manos Negras 2023 Malbec
Argentinian Red
Dark cherries, violets and floral notes form a medium-bodied profile. The wine is made entirely from Malbec grown in the southern Uco Valley, where soils combine sand, silt, stones and limestone. The grapes are destemmed and ferment for ten days in stainless steel at no more than 27 degrees Celsius. Six months in used French oak are part of the cellar work. Vibrant acidity and a soft texture are present.
Manos Negras 2021 Stone Soil Select Malbec
Argentinian Red
Malbec comes from selected stony parcels in Altamira, southern Uco Valley, at about 4,000 feet. Sandy, silty and stony patches occur within the vineyard, while the rockier sections have abundant surface stones and rounded rocks coated with calcium carbonate. The profile includes deep violet-red colour, black fruit, mineral notes, freshness, fruit, acidity and balance. Twelve months in French oak includes twenty percent new barrels.
Manos Negras 2009 Pinot Noir
Argentinian Red
Rose petal, bright cherry and raspberry give an aromatic opening, with cranberry bringing a tart, lively edge. The palate is supple and balanced, framed by gentle earth, mineral detail and fine spice. Toasted oak sits quietly behind the fruit, adding a savoury layer without dominating. Smooth through the centre and poised on the finish, it leaves red berries, dried flowers and a light touch of cinnamon.
